No major complaints. Over all was happy. Felt like part of the team and great coworkers. Provided flexibility in schedule for family needs and personal time. Enjoyed working where I did I would go back again.

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant in Med/Surg
on December 1, 2022

I was a CNA on third floor med/surg. While for the life of me I can’t understand how anyone can give this company more than a one-star rating, unless you’re in the highly overrated and over-saturated management roles, the reality from the grunts on the front lines is this administration as a whole doesn’t give any flying saucers about you or your life outside of its confines. I have never, in my life, worked for a job where a doctor’s note given to you by a physician who’s an employee OF THE SAME ORGANIZATION doesn’t matter when it comes to emergency absences. You go to the ER, literally downstairs in the same building, and you get written up for it. So in other words; work or literally die instead. Imagine working for a hospital that doesn’t know it’s a hospital but instead sees dollar signs that it’s continually chasing because it’s losing billions of dollars each quarter for mismanagement. Like, just imagine. Management does not care. Literally. They’re opening internal positions for management constantly instead of focusing on hiring for positions that are sorely understaffed. CNAs, anyone? Hire quality people instead of drifters that left their last job simply because they had to wipe a butt. /Horrible/ place to work.

RN Staff Nurse in Kalispell, MT
on September 1, 2022

A typical day/night included 1:5 nurse to patient ratios, however the RN was responsible for all the cares on at least 2 of those patients and would receive help with the other 3. The CNAs often had a 1:6 ratio and would often be resentful of helping in any form with the 2 patients the RN was solely responsible for. Many of the resources for providing patient care are outdated and minimal. No computers at the bedside, instead they had the work stations on wheels. Nursing Management was mostly absent and usually off in an admin meeting. Scheduling was done in blocks and once you were in a schedule pattern that was your schedule. Not much flexibility if you needed a day off that you were always scheduled to work. You either had to use PTO or hope someone would be willing to trade. Pay was terrible for an inpatient acute care nurse and was the number one reason I left as I could barely pay my bills on wages as an experienced nurse. Benefits are mediocre. We were understaff on our floor, and told that they would only provide more staff if we all started clocking out for our lunches and on time, but that's hard to do if you don't have time to take lunch and have to stay late to catch up on charting because you didn't have enough help on the floor to get it done in a timely manner. The nurses unionized and there was much animosity between the hospital administration and the nurses. The hospital monopolizes the healthcare system in this region and there is not much opportunity for nurses outside of this hospital system. Lots of local talent is lost to greener, more distant pastures.

Patient Service Representative in Kalispell, MT

Co-workers are easy to get along with and it's a friendly atmosphere. If I had a Dr's appt, I just had to let them know when, so my position could be covered.
