BUS OPERATOR (Current Employee) – Long Beach, CA – March 19, 2018
fair job good benefits but can be really stressful depending on the routes and people can work 12 hours but only get paid for eight, may have to deal with trouble makers and emergency situations and your safety
Training Supervisor (Current Employee) – Long Beach, CA – May 6, 2015
A typical day of work at Long Beach Transit could consist of training new student operators on SOP, driving 40, 42, 43 and 60 ft coaches. Conducting refresher training and safety retraining. Teamwork is top notch and very professional. The hardest part of the job is terminating a person that puts in the effort but just can't grasp the training, but the best part is seeing the student as an Operator than as a Supervisor.
9/80 work day
Working with people who complain of working there.

Great place to work, very friendly and customer service oriented. Help was always there when needed and even offered. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to meet and work with great people who not only enjoyed what they did but were very knowledgeable.
