Good place to work but overworked and short staffed

Overworked and short staffed . Administration does nothing to correct this. Turnover ratio is high and minimal training to staff creates unsafe work environment.

Listen to me. Please. They do not care about you as a worker. They will at first. It's a good front. But they aren't in it for the long run with you. Once you get your LCSW, you'll see that you don't deserve to stay there and get treated the way you do.1. Be expected to be flexed and have to use your personal time. And then they will wonder why your work isn't done but it was THEM who flexes you ...

i dont recommend

the pay isnt good an the bosses are worse i was a loyal employee that came in early an on my off days i did my job an nothing i did was good enough one day i had enough i told the higher ups what my team has been doing they were working from 6-1 they are scheduled to work til 3 at 1 they will sit down an wait til time to go when there were things to do i explained it an they fired me

Under valued

The welfare of the patients is not something they care about. Therapists are not allowed to advocate for their patients when it comes to going against a provider. Providers are valued more when they only see a patient for 15-20 minutes a week and therapists/nursing sees patients for hours in a week. Therapists licenses and clinical judgement are not valued at this place.

Tense snd isolating

Management do not listen and constantly keep things influx. Stability is a word they do not understand and it causes harm to patients. No one listens to the therapist treating the pt 9hrs a week, and predend their clinical judgment means nothing. They keep coworkers isolated and only care about bodies in the building.
