I'm unsure about the union workers, but the newly hired non-contract workers receive combined PTO for both vacation and sick time as follows:
1-5 years: 20 PTO days (160 hours)
6-10 years: 25 PTO days (200 hours)
11-15 years: 30 PTO days (240 hours)
16+ years: 35 PTO days (280 hours)

Unused PTO rolls over year to year as long as you do not have greater than 3x your annual accrual rate.
