How long does it take to get hired from start to finish at Los Angeles Unified School District? What are the steps along the way?
I applied for an LVN position, it took me 1 year to get hired on.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Los Angeles Unified School District a better place to work?
I would break up the district as fortunes are wasted on a corrupt and useless bureaucracy at Beaudry.
Job Security no such thing if a twenty four year employee who works twenty years on day shift be put into night shift.
LAUSD has one of the best in benefits. When I had my daughter, I was in the hospital for 3 days and I didn't pay a co-pay or anything. Also, when I was hospitalized for an exploding appendix's it only cost me the Emergency room- $100.00 and I was in the hospital for awhile. Also, if you have a surgery it would be covered and free to you. You can't beat that. Hope, that helps somebody.
What would you suggest Los Angeles Unified School District management do to prevent others from leaving?
To participate in more transactional communication sessions.
