If they're so good to work for why is there a shortage of bus drivers, attendance and teachers.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Loudoun County Public Schools?
Skills in coordinating student-centered learning are important. Communication with students and parents about progress, issues or triumphs, and expectations is key. While testing is important (at least until Virginia gets rid of the Standards of Learning), student growth is more relevant.
What is the work environment and culture like at Loudoun County Public Schools?
It use to be a great place to work, but not anymore!!! Management is rude and disrespectful to employees. Claim to care about us but never back you up like they are supposed to do they just throw you under the bus. They use threats intimidation tactics and fear to get their way. Management throws policy and the other employees faces but when it comes to the policies covering the employees they do not follow any of them.
The working hours are set 8-3:30, but the amount of work will have you taking work home or staying late.
