Lowe's is an okay place to work. Best for college students but long term the monotony and corporate structure may eventually get to you. Overall fine as a job in the short term.

The laziest workers get paid more than your hard working people.Sketchy managers get rotated out yearly almost in the last few years I had worked.I quit cause I was getting paid less than an associate that I was supervisor for.If you have a serious issue no one will take you seriously in regards to it. If there is an issue instead of fixing it you just get forced to relocate in or out of store.

While the customers can sometimes be a pain, some justified, the employees were overall fair with some being great - especially department heads. The compensation is good for the work, just be a competent and good working individual. The culture is great. They have plenty of parties, days where they bring in food, etc. A manager once bought shoes for a part-time employee because his were ruined from wear and tear and he didn't have money for new ones.

a typical day in the back end is pretty chill. It's a physical job and a faster pace than most, but nice. The people are chill but the management at the store is horrible They don't respect their employees unless you kiss their a** which is hard since their sitting on it most of the time. If you work hard they severely undervalue you and will lie directly to your face. The upside is you meet some nice associates, and learn some specific things about the department you are in.

Overall, my experience with this company was pleasant. My only issue was that they don't treat all their employees fairly. The place where I worked the supervisors showed a lot of favoritism. I think the main problem is the supervisors they choose are not trained to be in a leading position.
