I got terminated because I took up for myself cause another employee was making fun of my disability and she still working

These hours are so random that you cannot have a normal life. And full time employees get one weekend off every two months.

Mixed.

Upper management always emphasized finances and how that impacted our standing with the community, which I found to be kind of annoying.

Mid-management (i.e., head cashiers, heads of departments) I generally got on well with, and head cashiers at my Lowe's in particular were very efficient, hardworking, and encouraging. Those were some of the people I genuinely enjoyed working with.

Learn how to effectively manage, prepare an efficient schedule and train staff appropriately. They will continue to have rapid turnover with poor management in place. Talk to your employees with respect not like they ate childten.

Pay is decent. Helping customers. If you like to sell, you get the thrill of the sale.

Better Pay. Here in CA Lowes has not kept up with minimum wage going up every year.
A brand new cashier makes as much money as me.

Spread the store managers bonuses to all employees. It's not fair that they get anywhere from 30,000 to $100,000 bonuses when they're not driving the sales.

Quite hierarchical; Defensive interviewer; Skills based; No room/respect for personalities; Again, DEFENSIVE!; Interviewer presented herself very narrow-minded and judgemental/no effort to connect (Her facial expression changed every time I tried to be even every-so-slightly outspoken); Does not have the skills to read into a person/believes all the words coming out of my mouth (ie supervisorial experiences, etc etc/No evidence of intelligence ... really dampens your energy); last but no least, I am a more 'timid' individual and definitely saw her take advantage of it.

Unless you have no emotions and/or work in the industry, this is a job that pays dong for dong treatment; you are better elsewhere.

Applied on Thursday, called on Monday, interviewed on Thursday, drug tested at interview (was a good sign I was getting a job), Thursday afternoon store manager called and offered me a job, I accepted, Saturday the official offer came via email along with background check questionnaire and phone call to answer any questions. All the tests and background check should come back by Tuesday and I would start Wed. So almost two weeks. But, I have a feeling that this particular store is an exception...I had a really great experience with the interview as well.

Make it clear that customer service starts with management !! If management make associates miserable it also reflects on the customers!!
