I only left after finding a better opportunity with a company in management. I will agree with those that mention being on your feet for 8 hours. It is murder standing on a concrete floor. However you know that going in. I would return there for the right opportunity.

Got fed up with the hours, nitpicking and small thinking Managers. My Attendance and work ethics were perfect. Lowe's didn't deserve my services anymore.

I was actually terminated for calling off sick 3 times in 8 months. I was a delivery driver lifting heavy appliances everyday for 3 years, to the point of physically injuring myself. Lowes provides no PPE, not even gloves!! I had 18 hours of sick leave remaining but still got fired. Like I told my terminating managers...I’d LOVE to see corporate HR and the CEO carry refrigerators up 3 flights of steps everyday. See if they use their “inferred” sick leave. Will never even step foot, nor spend another dime in any Lowes store.

I left at first when I got bronchitus and tried everyday calling and trying to reach someone at the store. No one answered. Finally after feeling somewhat better I drove to store and still finding no manager to speak with, I told one of the workers to pass the word that I quit. They agreed that no one answers the phone around the store. The organization was pitiful to be such a huge corporation. I could not handle 8 hours on my feet always trying to figure what needed to be done. Also working the schedule I was given was not conducive to being a family man nor being in a marriage.

The management is the worse. I worked overnight here for a year it took me 6 months to get full time. The pay sucks for overnight and the day crew blames everything on us so you have like 4 people showing you stuff that's wrong that they did and you have to fix. They make you stay as late as they can with no BREAKS. The worst and hardest job I've ever had please dont waste your time.
