Kept cutting hours and management still need to show some kind of management skills. Training is minimal and half the time you need three people to help a customer because of lack of training, which means longer lines at check out.

Could never get out of my department no matter the experience I had in another department I had because Lowe's won't pay well for delivery so no one wants the job. Tired of working crazy hours and being treated like scum. Tired of being held accountable for other employees mistakes. Tired of being cussed out and being payed less than $12.00 an hour.

No opportunities to be full time. Some weeks I only got 8 hours!! A person can't live on that, but I hung in there for a year and a half hoping for something good to become of it because I loved working there so much.

While working in the Garden Center, was approached by a man asking many questions about plants, weeding chemicals, how trees pollinate, etc, was offered on the spot a job at another company to be Dept Manager at their Garden Center working 8-5 daily, Monday through Friday, no weekends with a much higher salary. Too good not to take, but still miss products and staff at Lowes.

Lowes a couple of years ago was a great place to work I enjoy getting to know retail and store operations. My coworkers were great and also managers were in each department. Then corporate cut mangers and staff so you would end up having to cover other departments and no mangers in site. people got fed up and slowly moved on to other employment. I still shop at Lowe's but that's about it
