A person doesn't know because they will close plant when they don't have work I had some 16hr weeks. Hard to pay bills on 16 hr per week. Not much work. they need more sales!!!

There are a few initially good raises, enough to entice people to move into the area. After that everyone gets the same 1% raise annual whether you are the worst employee or the best employee. Material handlers have had the same below the cost of living raises now for at least 10 years. Some of our new people are food insecure especially toward payday. We try to keep some food sitting around to help this like coffee, some cookies or soup. A new hire will struggle to pay rent, keep gas in their car (if they have one) and buy food, Management seems baffled by why there are rarely any donations around the holidays to the food pantry boxes that they set out in the production areas.
