The work environment was as good as the persons you had working around you if you have a good group of people around you everything ran smooth but it took a joint effort. But It only takes one person to throw off the flow of things being selfish.

Not able to compensate properly the independent contractors for the work they are performing. Ridiculous, some of the rates.

They’re beginning to deliver food perishables like Hello Fresh, Blue Apron and Plated ON TOP of their regular freight like post office, medical supplies, etc.

So on a typical day you will deliver around 80 + packages and you are pressured to deliver all of them even if you have to work past 10 pm.

It’s not just Amazon that’s the problem. The corporate level needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom. They do not have a CEO (as of today) and they are stressing out the drivers daily. Not just in Beaumont. It’s going on in Houston and other places.
