Excellent place to work
Plant Operator (Former Employee) –  Sterling City, TXMay 27, 2019
Lucid was a very good working experience for me, my co workers were some of the best people to work with. Lucid energy is a very good working place to work. They paid you for what you show them you can do. The insurance was good and the options to get 401 was there. Enough time off to enjoy with family. Pro ide work cloth, if you needed time off other guys would cover fir you as long as we took the right steps to do it. Gave you all the safety training they thought we needed to keep a good working environment.
Pros
Have good benefits, pay well, always busy, good people.gave raises, etc..
Cons
Work on holidays

Face Paced Company
Director of IT (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXOctober 6, 2017
Lucid was a fast paced company funded by a capital investment group (Encap Flatrock) that was concerned more about profits than employees. Prior to the acquisition of Agave Energy by Lucid Energy group, the company had a great culture and was very family oriented. After the acquisition, most of the company was sold off and many of the employees were let go.

Start up company that couldn't sell because they cut corners
Employee (Former Employee) –  Big Lake, TXJune 27, 2017
Start up company that couldn't sell because they cut too many corners.
Expected magic to happen without spare parts.
Management did not foster a safe atmosphere to succeed, danged if you did and danged if you didn't.
Band-aids were solutions to their problems.
Told to keep a schedule, but then pulled off repeatedly to do other things.
Pros
decent pay, paid holidays
Cons
benefits were meager
