Complete disaster

Lumen is the worst place I have ever seen. I was in the managed hosting division where so many people left and took their knowledge with them, those who remained didn't know what to do. The place has been steadily collapsing for years. The management team provided no training and instead told you to ask a co-worker. Everything rolled out turned into a poorly thought out disaster. Customers fleeing left and right and if they are still there, on a never ending high awareness due to poor support. Raises and bonuses cut out a few years ago as well. The only constant is the same management and problems.

Bad place to work

Don't apply here they threaten layoffs multiple times a year. They don't care about employees or their mental health. They have 0 respect for the technicians who helped through the pandemic because they only care about the bottom dollar

Great company but....

Just recently centurylink was purchased by lumen. That being said as of april 6th 2021 a involuntary force reduction was enacted and countless employees are now given 90 days to volunteer themselves for frivolous compensation to their departure or forceful departure. Most have fought tooth and nail to become employed by centurylink myself included only to be forced out due to poor business practices or money in someone's picked amidst the pandemic. Centurylink was and is aa great company to work for but it seems my time is short and aa terrible burden has been placed on my shoulders. My entire lifestyle was based around being this for the company only to be shot down mid mission.
