Just an awful company. The hours
worked are the least of their problems.
I was told to falsify company records.
I was told this is our policy. Because “we don’t have the time to be honest”.
I guess in Iowa they do things different.
You will have no life if you are a field technician . I was Consistently working 450-700 hours a year of overtime let that sink in a minute sure there was OT where did the last 10 yrs of my life go? havent been to the beach once in 5 years...worked every saturday for 8 years...........700 hrs ot is equal to almost 5 months of 40 hr weeks
In Iowa it was a Great experience.
The hours are Great. If you don’t have enough time, I was instructed to just “make stuff up” to close out trouble tickets. Because we “don’t have time to actually fix these troubles”. So we can slow walk troubles every day. This was the policy in Iowa Central Offices. And
now this same manager is calling himself a Director on job sites while he looks for a new job. He must be so proud of himself. So yes. The hours are Great ! Unless your a customer In Iowa.
4X10 hr days
Working hours were normal 9am to 5pm
Just an awful company !
Low Class management.
No class coworkers !
Wanted More hours than they paid for it and it was mandatory.
Working hours could be anywhere from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm as after 10:00 pm up until 7:00 am Centurylink out sources the calls to the Philippines. Most likely will be second shift to start like 1-9 pm or 2 to 10 pm. It took me 6 years to get a first shift position and you have to shift bid every 4 months so your schedule can change by seniority. The schedules got worse every year. Forecasters who make the schedules are a joke.
They are good you know what you will be working unless calls are slow they will give early volunteer go home hours
The working hours were great.
