Group interview, it seemed that anyone bold enough to answer questions we're invited back for a second interview where you were given a product and told to "sell" it to a staff member if you succeeded you were hired.

Very hard, they don't just hire anyone you have to have knowledge about to company and product ingredients its always a group interview and possibly a second interview too. They will put you on the spot and ask you to try to sell them a product and possibly have you demo the product on them too you have to treat them like an actual customer.

I was a seasonal hire, so it may have been different for me. First, a group interview with maybe 5-7 other people, it's very relaxed. During that interview, you'll be pulled aside with one or two interviewers and they'll get to know you better. After that day, you'll get a call, it's either a yes or a no. The next interview if you get to that point is one on one, and you'll also test out a "demo" and test a product. You don't have to know everything about the product- it's more to test how comfortable you are with grabbing a stranger's arm and rubbing soap on them, haha. After that, you get a final call, again, yes or a no!

Hiring Party is like a shop tour with a little bit of roleplay... The culture hour is where you're evaluated for how you would fit in with Lush culture. It includes another brief overview of the store, how we sell product, and some more intensive one on one roleplay. It also includes some critical listening tests whereby at the end of your hour, your interviewer will ask you questions about what they said at the beginning of the hour about particular topics of interest, such as maybe an ethical campaign the company was doing or a cool company story.
