Although the work can be difficult at times, the management team is supportive and the climate of the organization is positive. I feel what I do is appreciated and valued.
Coordinator in Allentown

Each day feels like you are contributing to something great and working toward a common goal to help others with a powerful mission and empowering vision. The workplace is very friendly, energetic and supportive with many employees who demonstrate a commitment to excellence every day. It feels like a career that enables you to grow, always knowing that you are helping to improve the lives of people in the community by helping connect them to vital resources including housing, employment, and independent living skills.
Vocational Coach in Allentown, PA

The job is definitely challenging at times, but there's no place better than LVCIL in the nonprofit human service world. The focus is always on the consumers and their success, and significant support is provided by leadership and coworkers to help in all areas.

The work is very important, and very rewarding, but the overall work environment is very toxic. If you do not do something exactly how management wants it done OR you question anything you’re written off as a bad apple. They are not flexible but expect employees to be. Work life balance lacks especially now working from home.
Community Accessibility Project Coordinator in Allentown, PA

Great place to work. Great people. One of the best Non-Profits in the country. The work is rewarding, and the activities planned by the organization are fun and exciting.
