Boring
The salary wasn’t enough, you work all day sometimes and you make less than $70, and for me that’s not enough here in Washington dc area, that’s why I wanted to find a better job

Great company
Overall great source of income, but the toll on your vehicle may not be worth it. Starting to become a "hit and miss" with the orders available. There are moments when there are a lot of orders coming in and some moments when there is a stand still and there are hardly any orders at all.

Flexible
They treat you as a mule. Typical Corporation that only cares about milking you for every penny you could make them. You lose money on most trips that they forward to you.

Just a side hustle
This is just a side hustle. Don't depend on making a good living, because some trips really isn't worth accepting. Some people travel just up the street, while others travel a better distance. Lyft fees are to high to actually say that you can survive while working several hours. I had one customer in my vehicle for over an hour and only was compensated a little more than $9.00. Should have been paid more than that being that .

You can make your own hours
Start the clock when you are able to start. People can be cruel at times. Lyft does NOT stand up for you so you have to deal with whatever arises. Not enough money made so if you are single, this job would be good for you. With Covid, there is no longer work with everyone staying home.

Job is as fun as you make it but no employee network available
Overall great company to work for unless you need to get in contact with the company. While I hold a 5 star customer rating, my account was deactivated due to having been not at fault in an accident when the other driver's brakes failed, ran a red light and totaled my vehicle. I have tried emailing and using the app to state my issue to no avail. There is no phone number for the company provided; talking to someone on the phone is impossible. While it's a good company to work for, their employee support network is virtually non-existent.
