Utilities maintenance (Former Employee) – Minnesota – May 31, 2016
Great place to work, as long as you can be patient with bad organization and terrible communication. There's always plenty of work to do, but nobody can decide when or how to do it. I loved the job, I just hated the way it all was such a mess.
Loved the work hate the lying management in office!!
Heavy Equipment Operator (Former Employee) – Reynolds, IN – April 14, 2016

Control Room Operator (Former Employee) – Reynolds, IN – January 18, 2016
There is no such thing as an average day at Magnetation as every single day brings new challenges in one way or another. Benefits package is second to none and compensation is top notch for the area. Long shifts and a very quick 2 week swing shift are a requirement for operators and Control Room Operators. Management has good intentions but still learning and going through growing pains with a volatile market that is indicative of the commodities industry.
benefits and compensation
culture is declining, shifts are diffucult to become accustomed to
Welder / Operator (Former Employee) – Grand Rapids, MN – December 9, 2013
I had issues with the unsafe work practices what was excepted by management. They were more concerned with production over employee safty. I could write a book on what I was subject too and other occurances through out the plant and pit.
