excellent pay, great work , home life balance
Mail Sorter / Post office Delivery (Former Employee) - Saginaw, MI - August 25, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedA great job overall but corporate had a terrible problem with over micromanagement. It was like any job if everyone did thier job like they are asked then everyone had a good day. A lazy employee was like a cancer for everybody else. Best part of the job was the fact you met a lot of great people.
Pros
Great pay and good hours
Cons
Over micromanagement, wouldn't fire bad workers

great place to work and once you know the route quite relaxing job.
Driver (Former Employee) - Everett, WA - September 6, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? great people to work for. They made you feel like a person instead of a number. Owner actually cares about his people and what they have happening outside of work. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Trying to keep the schedule during rush hour traffic What is a typical day like for you at the company? Show up and do a pretrip on vehicle and check in with post office dock worker. Load the mail that was going out at that time. secure trailer and then start route. Deliver the mail and then return to main post office and reload if needed.

The management is really horrible and toxic. Good luck if you want a life or to take a personal day. HR never answers their phone and they are super corporate and upper management is shady.
Pros
Money is okay
Cons
Split shift no life for yourself/ toxic management

Horrible management stands out about a week in
CDL Class A Driver (Former Employee) - Colorado Springs, CO - July 12, 2023
Bad split shift barely gets you 32 hours a week , bad management especially since both supervisors are about to retire, they don't care anymore and it's obvious about a week in. Run don't look bad they'll consume you 60 hours a week while giving you half.
Pros
"5 hour lunch break" aka split shift
Cons
Everything you can think of hence them always hiring!

The owners generosity with everyone Drivers, managers, support staff.
Driver Support (Current Employee) - Colorado - March 21, 2023
This company gets it, they compensate their drivers so they can live comfortably. You are treated fairly and appreciated by management. Good benefits. Room for growth in the company.
Pros
Paid very well, they honor your vacation time if you come over from another mail hauling contractor.
Cons
Early morning routes due to post office wanting mail on it's way early am. You get used to it, then you have your whole day to yourself

Not a good fit
Driver (Current Employee) - Abilene, TX - January 19, 2023
Not paid what was advertised and what was signed for, when extra work is needed can be gotten during peak season only. If needed after peak season will have to get a second job.
Pros
Bonuses are ok, work is easy
Cons
Manager isn't ever there

Great exciting place to work.
Driver and Safety Support (Current Employee) - San Antonio, TX - October 25, 2022
I have been working at MMS for 5 months now and have enjoyed every minute of it. They have given me many opportunities to challenge myself, and in my position, plenty of time to travel to different locations throughout the states, while always checking to make sure my work balance and home life are kept intact. I have not seen any closed doors in MMS, meaning that you can call anybody from the local management team or home office anytime of the day or night to get any questions answered. The support staff that they are building to support all parts of the business is un heard of any company that I have, or my spouse has heard of. This company is growing at a fast pace in very intelligent ways. Look forward to retiring with this company.
