it's an okay first job

You might want to just walk out sometimes but you won't because you need the job. The work friends you meet are good people (most of the time). Customers are very very rude and 80% of them just stare at you when you greet them. You get used to it. Overall the job isn't bad, at customer service it gets boring when it's slow. and if you're part-time, which most likely you will be, you won't get more than 28 hours a week.

I worked there for 2 years worst 2 years of my life. Please listen to me Please just DON'T. You get away with anything just because of who you are no matter if you're a good worker or not none of that matters is all about who you know so your hard work is basically unrecognized you may break your back for the company and try your best to satisfy your managers but at the end of the day they can care less about you they make you feel unwanted unappreciated and it's the worst experience of my life.

Discount grocer with high-quality customer service

Marc's is a discount grocer in the Cleveland, Akron, and Canton areas.

I worked as a customer service representative for two years at the Broadview Heights location.

Overall, the employees and management provided a high quality of customer service to local shoppers.

Simple place to work with simple task. Only responsibilities as a cashier are to check out customers and straighten the aisles.
