They will give employees that have been there longer a “wage adjustment” and they will do it strategically within 6 months before yearly reviews where raises are supposed to be given, and tell you that since you had a wage adjustment you don’t get a raise. The adjustment puts you at the minimum of where you should be based on the job, area, and economy, but will not factor in how long you have been there. So a 3 year employee will have the same pay rate as a new hire that’s doing the same thing you have been doing for 3 years and the new employee has zero experience. Raises will also not be given and the reason is to save the company money, but the company is a multimillion dollar company. One of the owners shows up in a new car every two weeks but has employees struggling to feed their family. It’s not right.
