Smart people but terrible company
Manager (Current Employee) –  New York, NYFebruary 15, 2019
I would not recommend anyone to trust what they hear about the supposedly cutting edge software and attribution product. There is a lot of manual input that goes into every customer delivery which the client is not aware of. The company is a slave to overpromising and underdelivering. Promises to improve and become more efficient come at the expense of cost-cutting tactics (letting good hard-working people go) and constant erratic restructuring (team structure changes every 6 months). Nobody knows what is going on, and management makes promises they can't keep, to both it's employees and its customers. Smart clients have picked up on signs of disorganization, inconsistencies, and cover-ups.

Great company, long hours
Data Analyst (Former Employee) –  El Dorado Hills, CAFebruary 4, 2018
ME is awesome but the hours are long and expectations are often unrealistic. Unfortunately the company is selling a product that they haven't built yet which obviously poses problems.

long hours

This was just a job while I was in High School and I doubt they are around anymore. But it was ok while it lasted. Mostly like telemarketing with Education.

Be careful, Marketing Evolution has a habit of binge hiring and firing
Analyst (Former Employee) –  El Segundo, CAMay 25, 2016
The company has a really bad habit of hiring and then laying off quickly. They seem to binge and purge when it comes to employees. There's a good chance you'll be there less than year, average a 14 hour work day and then be rewarded with a layoff. When you start, the training consists of watching a few videos on youtube and a weekly call with someone in New York just going through the motions. You'll be thrown into your role with no guidance and expected to swim like a seasoned pro after a week. Thus the 14 hour days just trying to figure things out. And because the company is decentralized noone really cares about anyone elses projects or workload. Oh, and hope you like conference calls...you'll have 4-5 hours of calls a day.
Pros
cool office locations. above market pay
Cons
management has ZERO idea what's going on
