I enjoyed my employment time at Hicks, and you have the option to take an unpaid 30 min lunch break if you choose to,unless for some reason youre alone
As a 1st Assistant Manager, my fiancée almost left me over the amount of time I had to spend at work sometimes, lots of call in a d no shows left me to work the shifts a lot, especially on weekends. They do not care about employees like they say they do... Only if you are one of the higher upside. I worked at the Corporate store in Carmi, and a few other locations when asked to help out. They treat the employees in stores completely different than they do their selves at Corporate Headquarters.
Awful! They don’t give you enough to live on

I never worked less than 60+ hours a week. The job was a very time consuming place.
