Rethink your low opion of your drivers and remove all the derogatory reference to drivers
Is it possible to work four days on four days off line dispatch? The pay is good, it’s just that I get burned out, and have to take vacation to get to the doctor. I think I could go forever and work longer days if I had more days off.
Take a class on empathy. Management doesn't know the proper way to address and talk to employees. Also, please understand that life happens and don't give people grief when they can't work for very serious reasons. Show more appreciation to ALL employees both drivers and office staff. Stop showing favoritism and allow more room for individual employees growth if you would like to have better longevity amongst staff.
When new runs come up, there should be a bid sheet, for drivers. Highest seniority should get it. It makes drivers upset seeing someone come off the street making more money.
Take into account your employees work/life balance. Stop saying "I dont care, they all work 6 days here in Bryon Center"
Need more vacation/Holiday pay. Shouldn't have to wait 5 years to get 8 holidays.
Reinvest in company by getting better equipment. It will get you better drivers
Watch the favoritism from your managers
Yard security is bad
Ask yourself why your dispatch turnover is so high
Talk to your drivers.
Get newer trucks, dont slip seat!!
