Interview process for a Staff Accountant position began with a phone interview to gauge your interest in the position and to get initial thoughts on salary requirements and preemployment screening requirements. I had two in person interviews with my first line supervisor and the HR Manager. They explained what a day at Martinrea looked like for an Accountant. Then let me
Ask questions. Ended with them promising to get word back soon. Three weeks passed with no word then finally a call and request for second interview. This interview got into specifics on Pay, hours, job duties, etc... I expressed my desire to work there and they told me an offer would be sent my way soon. I received an offer in two days and the following Monday was at work. Took the drug screen Monday and physical and hearing and vision tests. The drug screen was a hair follicle test. 90 day checkup is what they called it. If you can't pass a hair test, do not apply at Martinrea or at least do not accept an offer until you can.
