Hours and Flexibilty. I worked nursing PRN and I was constantly asked to go beyond my scope of practice.

50% of patients are not medically suitable for rehab and should be in a proper hospital. Not safe for them and then staff get blamed too. Very understaffed. 1 nurse or aide for 12 to 15 medically complex patients. Staff is overworked and extreme stress. Pay is comparable to McDonald's pay for a nurse tech!

Management hears but does not respond to employee concerns. Units are continually understaffed; patients treated are often medically complex, more appropriate for ICU; pay is substandard; work/life balance is very difficult; only certain employees afforded career development opportunities.
