Mascoma is where I became an accomplished Research Associate
Research Associate (Former Employee) – Lebanon, NH – June 3, 2015
It was an easy come, easy go environment. As long as the daily "to do" list was being checked off, its was the ordinary lab routine. More of a team oriented group, however, the ability to work independently was crucial. I enjoyed all the people I had the pleasure of working with. A promotion to a Research Associate II happened over the course of 3+ years. There were many different Scientists involved in my training, and my reviews were always excellent. At Mascoma, I was always multitasking, and juggling experiments for multiple different research projects. Keeping up with such intelligent scientists was a chore at first, but after developing my skills I learned to enjoyed the buzz. I challenged myself to attempt to reach my full potential. Now, things have slowed down, and I am ready to turn it up. What I miss the most is being on the go, go, go.
