awful communication at all levels, no professionalism
Engineering (Former Employee) –  Chelsea, MAMarch 16, 2019
Three ways to summarize working for the MWRA: lack of intelligence, lack of communication, and lack of respect. That’s what you’ll experience when you work here. Absolute mess of a place to work with. Awful managers and especially HR reps. So unprofessional, unintelligent, and rude
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Bad wage, awful employees and manager, gross place

Payroll Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Boston, MANovember 17, 2018
Great place to work. The opportunity for advancement and job security has always been important to me. This job certainly gave me both. I spent almost 19years with the same company. That was a blessing

Plumber (Former Employee) –  Boston, MAAugust 19, 2017
Great place to goof off and hang around. No pressure to get work done. Played poker most of the time. Benefits are good and pay is okay for the amount of "work" you're expected to do. Gets boring after awhile and is difficult to stay awake. MWRA stands for "men who ride around" although some of us without a truck just "sit" around. Good place for an older person to coast into retirement.
Pros
Good people to hang out with.
Cons
I'm required to show up to get paid.
