The managers in this area were confusing, and there were many staffing changes. This was a good summer job, but I would not work there long term. The staff were friendly though! Also, they don't tell you but you have to be good with conflict and complaints from customers constantly.

Walmart of massage
terrible company!!! Don't actually try to help anyone or care for clients! You're there to get consumers in and out. They charge out the wazoo and pay peanuts. They'll hire anyone that can fill appointments. They really don't care for expertise as long as you toe that company line. They'll fire you faster than they stick up for you

Great clientele, Not appreciated at work. No benefits
I love my clients!! That is the plus to working there. Management does not listen or try to accommodate their staff. They bully you. The turn over rate at each location for therapists is high because they are not appreciated and definitely taken advantage of. We are trained professionals and work hard. Management doesn't take care of their employees and they do not offer a benefits package. Your on your own.

Great for starters and really great when you just want to focus on massage.
Working in a relatively controlled environment you have to be able to take the good with the bad. You don't always get to choose who you work with but you are able to help clients match with therapists who will be great for them. Its fast paced but if you make your concerns known then adjustments can be made. Great experience for me since I know nothing about running a business and I like working around other people and get to meet new people and find new challenges that give me a hands on opportunity to learn. If you like things done a certain way and can't stand being told what to do occasionally then this environment is not for you.

Terrible company
I’ve worked at two different massage envy’s. They don’t care about seeing their employees succeed. When I asked for help from management, I never received it. They expect you to still sale a monthly goal in services/products regardless of how low the client retention is to the entire location. If you don’t hit this goal, you get written up. You have to have a full book of clients everyday you work to be able to reach commission.

Ok place
It's hard to generalize as it is a franchise. From my personal experience it's an ok place to work for. The pay is low, but you can make more if you get requested and add on services.
