Massage Heights was a cool job at first… but it didn’t take long for this location’s true colors to show. Some employees are nice and actually come to work to do their job. Others are messy and judgmental. When hired, they say “no drama” “no gossiping” but that’s all they do on a daily basis. This is a SUPER sales based position, so don’t apply here if you don’t want to come off as pushy to the public. The standards are high and unrealistic… They have a high turnover rate for employees and guests because they don’t set them up for success. Employee wise, full training isn’t always provided. Guest wise, they leave out important information or twist words to make something seem like something it’s not just to get a sale. The hours are all over the place, you work based on the needs of the company not based on the availability that you provide. Overall, I witnessed a lot of people quit/get fired during my experience here. I personally think management is to blame. This location is poorly ran. I wouldn’t recommend the receptionist position to someone who has a social life and/or needs to pay REAL bills. You also don’t get PTO until after a year of working there so if you need to miss work prepare for a dent in your check.
