You will be asked to call customers the day before service , mostly had to leave messages, walk up the next day to “what are you doing here, I didn’t approve this , very uncomfortable experience, not including the unexpected dogs in the back yard ,don’t waste your time with this hocus pocus waste of time job that is not worth your time , I quite in February and office is still calling me to service customers for the service,, ???? Really,,,not once, but four times after I told them I no longer work for Massey??? NO Communication , don’t waste your time,,,

Horrible work life balance. 6 day work weeks most weeks. They pride themselves on health insurance but company culture leaves much to be desired. Low morale and high turnover.

You get 20% of $50 to do 20 units in a apartment so $10 for 2 hours
Technician (Current Employee) –  Fayetteville, GAApril 12, 2019
You get paid time off but you still have to complete the work that was miss while on vacation they literally told a tech he shouldn’t be going home until it’s 10pm until he is finish his route for the month. Constantly understaff and how they deal with understaff is given the workload to remaining techs but the check will be the same the next month. You get 17% of work completed from residential and 20% from commercial and apartments. The average customer spends $75 for a stop so that’s $12.75 basically and you have a 140 stops a month so that’s roughly $1785 if you don’t include the 20% and sales you completed but I’m sure your saying that’s not hard 140 stops each apartment takes 1-2hours to complete which is first clock eater and you have pest request from customers which you don’t get paid for and they can ask for pest request whenever it’s a unlimited supply and you can average 1ー3pest request a day that’s a hour from your route and then there is start ups for new customers which policy is you start ups should be a hour and they are typically $100 which is also 17% which is 17 a hour and if you complete all your stops your check normally be $2700 but you only get the 1700 and they pay you the other 1000 at end of month and after benefits taken out from both checks your first check is about 1200-1300 and last check 800 and your gonna averaged 60+ hours a week if you gonna finish your route and you have to call customers when you get home to notify them that you are coming the next day with the calling customers you are basically making 12hourly to Be finish with everything  more... it’s about 7:30pm a coupleof hours to live your life and ya you pretty much work every Saturday also to catch up on route. If that doesn’t bother you go ahead and enjoy and then realize after doing 2 apartments a day and 3 pest request you’ll realize it’s high demand for little pay  less

Never ending cycle
Technician (Former Employee) –  Lakeland, FLMarch 2, 2019
They hire idiots to manage. The people who actually care and want to move up and make a difference are pretty much brushed aside and get false promises. The job is okay. Long hours and you can make a decent pay check. The resources at QA are there to help you be good and get better at your job. After a long while with this company I can only name 3 managers who actually do the job. Managers just sit around and push more work on you. Benefits are decent, money is okay. Time and stress is too much.

Worst place for employment
Pest Tech (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TXMarch 22, 2018
Exceptionally horrible place to work. They pretend to care about family. Manager actually said the words "I know you want more family time, but now's not the time for that" when a tech quit and we had to pick up more work. They lie about so many things including the pay to new hires. No take home privileges. Constantly trying to turn everyone into a salesman even when you were hired in a different position. Be prepared to make sales calls and even go door to door. No paid sick leave and good luck trying to get a day off EVER. Mandatory to work saturdays.

Want you to work for nothing
Technician (Former Employee) –  New Smyrna Beach, FLNovember 10, 2017
They pay a draw and production. Once you pass the draw your production is what you get. So if you get 2000 per month on draw and your production is 2300 you only get the 2300 not 4300. They want you to sell, door hang, and make collection calls for no pay.

Good paying service sector job.
Technician (Current Employee) –  Naples, FLFebruary 29, 2016
Good place to make a living. My co-workers are a great group of individuals who work very hard. Family owned company. CEO is a good guy. Always something new to learn about the business. Educating customers is very rewarding. Opportunity to make extra money when needed.
Pros
Good pay and benefits. Recession proof.
Cons
Long hours. Questionable commissions sometimes.

Management is lazy and dont care
Tech (Former Employee) –  Baton Rouge, LAApril 1, 2013
The company as a whole is a good organization. But team members are paid poorly. You work sometimes 80 hours a week and dont get paid for half of it. Management is over paid and LAZY! And the products suck and the organization has way to many chiefs.
Pros
good family enviroment
Cons
none of the management will work. team members spend 60 hours a week and pay sucks.

Technician (Former Employee) –  Orlando, FLMay 16, 2012
Corporate needs to get involved and really work on the managing part. I don't feel that it is employee respectful, and I would never consider working for this company again.
