One of the last insurance companies that still has everything regarding Benefits: Group Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Group Life and Voluntary Group Life and LTC. They offer a credit union and products too. Also have both a 401k with a match and a Pension. For Executives they also have Defered Comp and Executive Bonus Plans. Versus other Insurance companies, their Benefit Pkg is a the top of the upper quartile!

In field jobs, typically suit and tie and corporate attire for women M-TH; most agency offices have business casual on Fridays. In Corporate Office, it depends on the department. Many departments are business casual. Most executive roles are corporate professional attire.

They ought to in order to do the full job for the client but just like doctors specialize, so do financial services reps. Mass recognizes that and does not mandate it. Many agencies encourage and even instill the CFP or IAR as their culture but Mass leaves that to each agency to decide. With the purchase of MetLife’s Career force, the ratio of advisors to agent went up. Probably 40-60% are full IAR or CFPs now.

I was let go as "my position was being eliminated" only after two months of working there in which I turned down two other offers to take that position and both were filled by the time I was laid off.

They ask a lot of profiency questions... A few that that I could remember was, 'name a time you've improved a process'. 'What can you bring to Mass Mutual?', Give a time that you provided incorrect information to a customer, how did you handle it?
