For our Sales Manager in Training position, the entire process will typically take approximately 2 weeks, dependent upon when you are looking to begin your new career with Mattress Firm! The majority of our Operations positions tend to see a shorter interview to hire period, while the typical experience for Corporate Support positions is slightly longer in duration.

Recruiting team provided the candidates. A phone interview was conducted. And if they candidate passed, then would the team of interviews meet and evaluate the candidate. If the team approved, then we would extend a final interview with the department manager.
The interview process for the area manager position with Mattress Firm was centered around what my plan would look like to improve the sales performance of the area I would be overseeing. In addition to presenting my plan, I had to present how I would implement said plan, as well as give background into how my previous sales and management experiences correlated to the skillsets needed for the position.
