GR8 question! Our pre-employment experience typically starts off with the completion of an application on our Careers website at www.mattressfirm.com/careers. After submission, a Recruiter will review your entire application based on the requirements of the position. If your qualifications align with those of the position, the first step of the interview experience is typically a brief phone interview with the Recruiter. We hope to be able to review your application soon!

Lack of a healthy work/life balance. Never getting to see your family. Pay fluctuation. Warehouse issues with products which makes you lose commission. Also the hours are too demanding.

Recruiting team provided the candidates. A phone interview was conducted. And if they candidate passed, then would the team of interviews meet and evaluate the candidate. If the team approved, then we would extend a final interview with the department manager.

The interview process for the area manager position with Mattress Firm was centered around what my plan would look like to improve the sales performance of the area I would be overseeing. In addition to presenting my plan, I had to present how I would implement said plan, as well as give background into how my previous sales and management experiences correlated to the skillsets needed for the position.
