Mattress Firm stores are open Monday-Saturday from 10am - 8pm and on Sundays from 12-6pm. Sales team members typically work 5 days a week, with two consistent days off, estimating around 46-50 hours each week.

Answered by Mattress Firm

Many stores are now open 10-9. There are also mandatory meetings once a month. Holidays are over 12.5 hours. You will work at least 50 hours.

They are honestly horrible. Some stores are now open until 9pm. So it is possible to work 9:45 am - 9pm. Holiday weekends are always more than 12 hours.

On average you are working 10 to 12 hour days. It really depends on the market you are in. The Northeast market will be working 10am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 7 pm Sundays.

If you are in a store that is doubled, there will be a 1 hour split shift. Where you or your partner will come in an hour after opening and the other leaves an hour before closing.

With that in mind, not every store will have 2 people working everyday. Very good chance you will work the whole day alone. 4 to 5 11 hour days and an 8 hour day on Sundays. Save holidays where it could be 13 to 14 hour days; Friday to Monday

Being a commission based job, Mattress Firm is not required to pay overtime. Your pay depends on you and your ability to sell. Otherwise it defaults to a guaranteed pay equal to an hourly rate set forth by the company. Much like every other corporation, they are out to make themselves and their investors money first.

You'll work a ton of hours and most likely get ONLY an hourly pay. They won't pay overtime. They'll require you to give up your family and life so they profit. Don't do it unless you're looking to put food on your table only.

Hours don't look like much on paper but when you actually work them it's a different story 5 days out of the week are completely gone on your 2 days off you are working to get everything done that you couldn't . All in all no work life balance 10-8 not including drive time making it a 12 hour day 5 days a week . Not fun especially when you don't see enough people !
