GR8 question! Our pre-employment experience typically starts off with the completion of an application on our Careers website at www.mattressfirm.com/careers. After submission, a Recruiter will review your entire application based on the requirements of the position. If your qualifications align with those of the position, the first step of the interview experience is typically a brief phone interview with the Recruiter. We hope to be able to review your application soon!

So here is exactly how this went for me. I originally applied for several positions with MattressFirm for a couple of different local stores through Indeed using the Easy Apply. Not so much. Lol. A few days after applying I received direction that I needed to apply on the MattressFirm website. No problem, so I did right away and at the end you receive a message telling you that if your a match a recruiter will contact you withing 24-48 hours. That never happened. No one ever called. Three or four days after that I received an email saying Congratulations you have been selected and qualify for an interview. The same email includes instructions on how their interview process works. Now I don't know if it recently changed, but you do not interview in person. They use a third party company and you do a video interview with pre-recorded stuff from them and you have two chances to answer each of their 7 questions. It takes about 15-20 minutes and you have a limited amount of time to read/listen to the question and 3 minutes to answer each question. I put a lot into preparing, though I did really well, but never heard back from them so maybe I overvalue myself lol. Interestingly though, several friends of mine with far less experience that told me how they did their web interviews (not good) were selected and got hired. They all ended up quitting very soon after getting hired so maybe I was better off.
