Sales Associate (Former Employee) – Millwood, NY – July 18, 2018
Very demanding job with sub par equipment. There were more hurdles to get by on a regular daily base. Management was unable to keep up with all the issues the department faced. Which in turn made the atmosphere very toxic for the majority of the "entry level" people. But the majority of the other people working there are great and its a shame they don't like to take care of their employees.

Just keep in mind that they only care about GP gross profit anything else is secondary they rather let you go than to keep you as an employee when it was Kaufman we had 6 people in the shop now we only allowed to have 3 people in the shop they don't care about customer service only the money to up charge customers...... Had a guy quit this week because he moved and they would not transfer him to a store 5 minutes from the house instead they wanted him to drive an hour to the same store..... Store has a turn over 15 people in a year district manager turns his head..... Just be warned just pick your store carefully there are good managers out there
Pay, you can have a beard
The management waits to the last minute to address problems

A Place and company that doesn't really hire jerks. Even though they dont hire jerks, The higher ups above the Store managers are the lowest of the low. Real jerks that make the store managers into jerks.

Sometimes because of pressures from corporate or whatever else, lead to customers spending more money on services that may have not required immediate attention. So people may end up spending more then what they were comfortable with. even at times more then they were reasonably able. Every so often there would be the customer who would throw money at the problem until it was gone so they wound up getting some extra work done that wasn't even completely necessary.
Somewhat productive work place depending on the day and time

I started working at Mavis when the store was being built along with the Grand Opening of the shop. In the beginning it was great as time went on management meaning the upper bosses weren't being flexible with pay and it wasn't nearly enough to live on.
