Demand to be trained by the correct staff member and not just a ordinary coworker and a staff member that speaks the same language as you. Cuz there are a lot of foreign coworkers. Which is not a problem but very hard to understand especially with how loud it is in there and you're wearing earbuds. An to be placed on a machine that fits your skills or you're in for a very long night each and every night.

My interview was through a staffing agency and my contact at the agency made the job sound like it was the easiest thing in the world. That you have a part made by machine and it just gets dropped to you and you look for inconsistencies or scratches and then that's it and you pack it away. Being a machine operator is hard work very demanding fast-paced work. I would have chosen and asked for the assembly line knowing the whole process in how much they demand out of you in the molding and production section of the shop. For 1150 an hour the work it's not worth it if you can find a job paying around the same amount. Anyone working on a machine should be making $15 an hour at the least.
