At my location, they were hiring pretty much everyone. if you’re over sixteen, and look like you can do the work, and high availability they pretty much hire immediately. while it’s a very quick process, before you can begin working you have to buy your probationary uniform (white short sleeved dress shirt with a pocket on the left side, black dickies, black treadsafe shoes- specifically that brand, a black belt, a black hairnet, and a black bow tie, all together cost between 40-50 dollars) and wear it to orientation with others in your district. i had to drive to a town an hour away and have orientation with people from four other surrounding cities. after that, it’s smooth sailing.

Question they asked me: What would you do if a customer was upset about their sandwich?

Answer should be: Do not get a manager involved. Fix their sandwich to the way they prefer even if no mistake was made. Ensure that the environment is smooth, relaxed and satisfactory.
