Worked there over 7 months did nearly everything in store never got a promotion and on got a 30 cent raise after my one month eval that didn't kick in until a month later. Mind I was told that within 3 to 4 months I would get a promotion upon orientation. What gm didn't say was if she liked me. Turns out she didn't like me.

Answered

Depends on where you are, my franchise didn't really do raises unless the supervisor (the person above the GM in my franchise) liked you.

Remain on task, always be open to learning new things. Work the best you can at all times. Try to be as fast as possible whilst being as efficient as possible. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it does have to be presentable. Always try to keep your coworkers on task. Don’t be afraid to talk to the managers about an issue you may be having. Always remember that the customers come first. Always. Always tell your coworkers that they’re doing great, because a happy crew is a efficient crew. They should always know that they matter. And most and foremost, don’t be human. Meaning don’t let the customers see you eat or drink anything. They can’t see you sit, and you must try to be as busy as possible. Chances are that there is always something to do. Don’t be afraid to give new people tips and pointers that you didn’t get right away. I was trained in by somebody that had only worked there for 2 weeks. I picked up quick but I also didn’t always understand everything. Try to crate a good crew, do not cut corners.
