Good light weight loads

I'll say this the same way someone said it to me. A good company to lease with, they've got plenty of work but, WATCH YOUR MONEY, after checking my settlement sheet I was paying someone else insurance payments

Pros

Free gift cards at orientation

Cons

WATCH YOUR MONEY escrow 3500.

Horrible

This job is the worst the management will lie to the higher ups so they won’t have to take the blame for something they did but they will put it on you as if they didn’t tell you to do it. You have to watch your back in this company just go to work do your job and leave don’t try to make friends or you will regret it.

Pros

Pay, hardly any work

Cons

You won’t last long

Good work environment . Hot temperatures in certain parts of warehouse.

The ability to learn more about modern technology and computers was quite interesting. I picked up on a few computer skills as well. I disliked the temperature of the warehouse.

Busy job

Lots of OT available for hourly employees. Days vary depending on customers needs. Learned to prioritize. Hardest part is unknowing when you’ll be done for the day

Horrible management.

Warehouse is dirty and hot as expected. Fans were inadequate for the size of the space. On site management is a joke, site leader terrified of floor manager. They often blame issues on the lower level employees to cover themselves. They have a great team of people just need to replace management ASAP.

Great place to work

McCollisters made it easy to understand the company and it's over-all process. I learned about all programs and it's benefits inside as well as outside the company

Need local mamagemet overhaul.

I really NEVER saw anything like it. The Terminal manager was fully aware of some employees stealing copper from job sights and was also aware of some employees bringing illegal drugs and alcohol to work and in the trucks. The absolute worst work environment I have ever experienced. He was never held accountable because he got the freight delivered.

Pros

Decent pay

Cons

To many to list

Steady workplace

Good company to work for, very laid back management. Slow season is brutal, but so is busy season. Be expecting to wear a ton of different hats and be able to multitask.

Good Supervisors

Long hours in the summer and no where near enough hours in the winter. I would work 60-80 hours a week in the summer and may get 10-20 in the winter time.

Good for Owner operators

You make as much as you put in. This is a company this is basically owner operators. They have a decent client base. If you enjoy being one the road and not realty desire of being at hom. This is a great company

Pros

You are your own boss

Cons

Lack of home time

Please see below.

Very stressful and treated with no respect. Different collection skills. Middle management is very fair. Dismal. The lack of consistent procedures being in place. The people I work with are great.

Pros

Occasional lunch.

Cons

Poor health care package. Constant chaos. Lack of leadership.

Upper Management is Poor

Lay-offs due to poor upper management decisions are common. Working hard and performing well are not a factor in the companies decision on lay-offs. They do not reassign. Too much is put onto one employee.

Pros

None

Cons

Poor management, poor pay and poor ethics.

Too many VP's

A typical day at work was quite busy. There was really no team work there. It was a small branch that use to be big....No authoritive overhead to guide employees

Over all a good work environment but a lot of cut throat people

Pretty much the same thing as military exp. but maybe a little more down graded. Diagnostic tools were not as direct as military but will take some getting use to. Maintenance and repaired multiple: exhaust’s, rebuilt hubs(barrings, seals, races ect). Performed multiple DOT regulated and company regulated inspections before performing pm’s

Pros

Good people but no leadership

Cons

Other than a couple mechanics it was cut throat to keep your job

Good Job

Been working as an Accounting Clerk for three years. Good work enviornment, I like the people that I work with. I have never had a problem with anyone of the employees. Only part time so I do not collect benefits, health, etc.
