I can't say much because I really didn't work all to often, but what I know is that the management was clueless, my co-workers were cool, the hardest part was trying to find a school to work at, and it wasn't enjoyable.
I would not recommend D-15 McHenry to anyone. You must be "in the group" in order to keep your job. Paras would say things behind your back. Principals would believe every word they would say; and try to get rid of you. Union not worth their weight or money paid for dues. Principals not supportive. The mighty dollar was very important. Subs would be kept as subs not put in full time positions. Pretty, young and blonde will get you hired. Co-workers not to be trusted. Cant say enough how bad it is to work there.
some nice people
Too many to mention, tattle tales, poor management, poor prinicipals, if against you for some reason could force you out of your job, treated poorly by paras, loved the old director, not new one, asst directors were awful
