Horrible place to work. Lots of favorites from the Supervisors. Can’t speak your mind or you’ll get wrote up for it. Lots of trouble makers. Machines broke down all the time and know one around to help you. Sorry place! Would not recommend working there!
Paid for three Holidays
In the IT Department it’s hard not to find something you love. At first it’s a little slow in terms of your range of responsibility but over time you learn new tools and branch out to what you like. Of course there are still task you have to do that you may not like but overall it’s worth the wait. The Pay is Decent for the area you would be living in!
Great Work Life Balance with Remote Work available depending on your situation, It’s a friendly family company, Great place to settle down!
Pay is good for the area but it is lower than the national average, Promotions will take more time for you to get, If you plan on scaling up fast in your career it will take some time
I work there for almost 2 years and i dont have any complain for it not planning to give my resignation but i want to be close with a family so i moved back in Ohio. If i moved in Tennessee again i surelly apply a job in Mckee and be part of it again and again. The management are all nice and very helpful they also have a good benefits for you and for your family every summer they give you a pass with our of the park in there so u can enjoy your day with your family. With all the free food and free ride inclueds its really fun and peaceful working invironment.
Free lunches with any holiday, freebies with cake etc.
Good benefits, insurance, and alots of cool stuff
Pay is no where close to what it should be. This would be a decent 1st job for somebody with not much experience and don't mind starting at the bottom with low base pay. If you happen to go into production stay far away from the rumor mill it will engulf you whole and spit you out like used gum.
Sometimes you get free lunch
Pay workload some bosses have their favorites and let them get away with murder
I delivered for McKee just days shy of 7 years. The pay, the equipment & time at home & built time off are unbeatable in the trucking industry. I was home more than on the road by choice & made as much or more as other companies pay & had the opportunity to make even more if I wanted. New trucks aproximately every 3 years, profit sharing with 3% match. The driver positions are teams and hand unload. Average runs are two a week.
Profit sharink, 401k, group health insurance, home time, good pay
Exposure to climate, interpreted sleep
Worked there for 5 years, was given opportunities for advancement but could never use my time off because they wouldn’t allow time off at the time before I resigned. The pay was good but my life revolved around work. This job took a lot of my time away from my family.

They lie to you and expect you to have open availability and if you don’t they try and replace you they also only follow company policy when it Benefits them out of causing you less time with family not at all a good place to work I worked there for years and am glad to say I’m no longer an employee poor management and HR is terrible
Pay is good
Poor management insurance is not great and you are treated less than trash
They have private pool, gym, fitness coach, profit sharing and more where other plants don’t offer. However it could be very stressful and hard work. Have to be willing to work as a team player.
Profit sharing, extras with incentives
Hard work, and you never know when you will be forced to work your day off.
The work isnt hard but you dont get paid what you should. It's the lowest paid plant in the area. Management sucks bigtime. Wouldn't recommend that anyone work here. You will not be appreciated.
No built in sick time or paid holidays, You have to use your own vacation time for holidays to get paid, and if you dont have the time you get a point, Pay is way to low which is why they cant keep anyone
Overall Mckee is a job I would look to apply to again, it is very consistent and gives you job opportunities within to move up. If you leave you will probably never be brought back. They pay very good for simple job, but sometimes other employees make it hard to work there. Not a heavy work load job, there are some bad days, but unless you want overtime they will not ask you to work more than your shift.
Benefits, Pay, easy work, clean work environment.
Gossip, they will not bring you back after you quit, you cannot move if on probation.
Great owners Feedback welcomed by most people Clinic on grounds Personal trainer Great Orientation Great Raises for hourly staff Great training Good people Traveling to other site Recreational Center Time Good management Invest in thier employees Fair Liberal leave Knowledgeable
Pros : great job stability . Good benefits. Cons: not enough pto for sick leave . Holidays and personal time leave you get a certain amount to use for all tied together. Job is not rewarding to what you do. You are expected to do the job while others don’t do their job and must help them but they just want to be lazy
I have worked for McKee Foods for over 3 years now and I love my job! It's a perfect balance of fast paced work and relaxed work. Plenty of opportunities to advance in my job and move up the chain to a higher level job. Plenty of great benefits to enjoy. A very great place to work!
