Health benefits are good in my opinion. They might be a little expensive per paycheck, but to me the extra perks are worth it. The company allows for a HRA fund account and when you complete biometric screenings you get money added to a card that you can then turn and use on co-pay for office visits, prescription medications, glasses, contacts, and other various medical needs (with proof of receipts). I was able to pay for my prescription drugs without using my own money, but rather the money I "earned" on the screenings just by doing things like getting my annual physical or getting a dental cleaning. It's also great because as a full time employee with benefits, your visits at MedExpress are free. I have had to be the patient a few times and I never received a bill.
Yes. But only if you are full time or part time extended. Benefits are expensive. With insurance through MedExpress you can be seen at any MedExpress for free. They currently have insurance through high mark, however there has been some communication about the contract with them ending this upcoming August 2017. They are trying to renew it but if they are unable to, being seen at MedExpress for free may not be possible anymore. Just depends on how that contract goes.
Medical, dental, vision, 401k
The deductibles are very expensive and to cover a family it about 230.00 a pay for medical only. Prescription coverage very good. Family can be seen in the clinic for free but it's hit or miss on the quality of the doctor seeing them
Yes. Benefits also can start on the day that you begin working, without waiting periods.
