Is the center manager position expected to work 12 hours everyday like the staff?

15 answers

No they aren’t! They don’t even know the job their employees do. They come and go as they please. Come in late and leave early.

Most of the time the manager strolls in about 9am . Most of the time there is no manager because now they have 2 centers to manage. This job is a nightmare! Run!!!!!!

No, and the staff does not even work 12hrs everyday , they do 3 12hr days per week (36hrs) so there's great work-life balance.

Never. They're barely even in the center for 8 hours. I can't tell you the last time my manager has physically been in the center for longer than 5 hours. Meanwhile, she is posting pictures of her family on facebook CONSTANTLY. So, yeah....hardly seems fair.

The CM not only takes class 24/7, CM is mandated to do an extreme amount of networking. This takes the CM out of the center of and even more with 2 centers. On weekends you are mandated to watch your times patients are moved thruogh the center. Expected to report taking away from family time. No matter what is said by the company, there is NO work life balance. Ex CM

Manager is never to be found and is never at either site. Basically works from I don’t know where

Now M-F 8am-4pm on supposed to be on call but most managers don’t answer so if you need help you are on your own. They should work 12 hours like everyone else.

No, center manager usually 8 hrs. A a lot of them also run 2 centers. Twice the job but no increase in pay. Hardly seems fair to them.

Do they frown on past class b convictions?

No, Center Managers only work 8hr shifts Mon-Fri, no Holidays. They are often gone throughout the day.
