Sick time is taken from your PTO bank. You are responsible for finding your own coverage. You will also get a “point” against you for calling in or “1/2 point” if you find your own coverage at least. If you aren’t a habitual caller-inner, this point system shouldn’t be a problem then. The points fall off after a year of being given I believe. I have worked for the company for over a year and I have only missed one or two days for a family medical emergency. I will add it should be part of the center managers job to assist in finding coverage for their staff. If I was a CM, I would certainly want to help. Things happen sometimes.

If you are sick, (thank God I am healthy) you had to find your own replacement even if you had to call someone at 6:00am.
