Normal. They do ask if you have any experiance with Trouble shooting equipement. Pinging a modem & other things. If you are tech savvy come along if you don't know a whole lot take a swing. It doesn't hurt to try.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. They will ask in the intial phone call BEFORE the interview if you know anything about Pinging a modem & other technical stuff related to the Job. During the interview it is the same but a bit more. They want to know if you will make a good fit. Learn about how tou carry yourself etc.
