Very stressful. You're get slammed with so many things at a time. There's so many rooms for mistake which isn't safe and put your license at risk.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Medical City Healthcare a better place to work?
Nurse and techs would wear same color scrubs. These color coordinates are the biggest problems on the units
What is the vacation policy like at Medical City Healthcare? How many vacation days do you get per year?
PTO is generated based on years of service. Not bad, you get about 6+ hours per paycheck.
Management is the absolute worst !!!! This place is run like a business, they care about numbers, patient satisfaction above all else, never mind the nursing staff, even if it's at the risk of losing some very good nurses. The culture here is not supportive of nurses.
Two different interviews. First interview is with the EVS manager..
Second interview was with Dept. leads and Supervisors.
What advice would you give the CEO of Medical City Healthcare about how to improve it?
Hire type A personalities for all lead positions
Get rid of not qualified employees. Give merit raises only for performance goals met. The unqualified will then be easily recognized and placed in better positions
