Management sucks. My manager lies and the director sticks up for this person every single time. Human Resources is for management so don't bother going to them. If you're not apart of the click in your area with management , good luck, your raises will stink. Certain people are allowed to sleep. If you bring any concerns of other employees to the managers you will be micromanage. Not the person who's lazy, doing nothing and sleeping.
The culture is VERY tough to break into. While it's a good company, it has a mom and pop type of feel to it. On the surface it would appear that new and fresh ideas are welcomed, but that's not necessarily the case. It's not a progressive culture. Change is VERY VERY slow. Promotion does happen from within but varies. Zero diversity at the C-Suite level, almost non at Director/Manager level. Some departments (ENTIRE DEPARTMENTS with 30-40 people) have NO minorities at all. Very conservative.
I enjoyed my co workers and grew close to many throughout the company. The company GREATLY cares for their customers and expect the employees to give exceptional service. If you do give exceptional service consistently you will be rewarded.
Stressful, unorganized, favoritism is seen sometimes.
