You get what you get. You work what they need you to work. If you have a family emergency come up and need to change shifts. You should forget it here. They are not flexible! They do mandatory shift bids. You could get stuck with something that doesnt work with your family life at all. What would they do... Nothing... You either work it or you leave the job!

No more than 10HRS a day, but you get the same breaks as an 8HR person. Someone added it up and 8HR people by the end of the month get more break/lunch time than a 10HR person that works the same 40HRS. 8HR people get 48HRS more break time a year than a 10HR person for the same 40HRS worked. And good luck getting a day off. It takes forever and a day to earn paid time off. You earn a certain amount for every hour worked. Takes a 10HR person about a month and a half to get one day off. Then you get your day off, and you have to try to get them to approve it. Which 8/10 times it will be denied due to business needs.

It is extremely stressful job!! You go through an act of congress to get hired on, and then they will let you go over anything. They took our call center from 24HRs to 1st and 2nd shift, then a couple months later told all 2nd shift they would have to go to 1st shift, work from home, or give a notice because call center was going M-F 9-5. We was 24HRS for over 10 years.
