Bilingual Customer Service Advocate (Current Employee) – Irving, TX – February 22, 2018
I’ve been working as an customer service advocate for one year. At my current job in the medicare-retirement division of a large health insurance company, I am the first point of contact for the company. I assist with benefits and billing inquiries, conduct insurance policy research, educate providers on medicare rules and billing guidelines, and research solutions for a vast array of medical issues for members from all parts of the country. I interact with clients who have a range of over 100+ different medical plans, and I customize my services to each individual. I pride myself on my ability to solve a problem during the first phone call a customer makes to member services; aka, First-Call Resolution.
